Cecilia grew up in Hong Kong and received further education at the University of Waterloo, Canada. She started her career working for Bell Canada for several years and migrated back to Hong Kong. In Hong Kong, she worked in professional Human Resource management for several investment banks over 20 years, including the position of Vice President on Human Resources at Bankers Trust Company.

Cecilia joined Richina Pacific (China) Investment Ltd in 2006 as a Group Human Resource Manager, responsible for all HR matters; focusing on recruitment during the current crucial phase of growing a number of new businesses in Shanghai, the implementation of the new E-HR system and adopting and refining group HR policie
